Childrens book based on the following poem: An Unusual Egg – (A Lenten Poem) Once upon a time there was a colorful egg Who was quite unusual for it had legs. From a crack in its shell, it could see Something special was happening. For many days the world seemed dead When bursting forth came flowers of red. Out in the meadow the sheep were grazing, When the egg saw a little lamb, amazing! Looking up into a clear blue sky, The colorful egg saw a butterfly. Standing in awe of God’s creation, The egg began to feel a strange sensation. Snap, crack, jiggle and whop Out of the shell, a head did pop. Shake and twist and just as quick, The egg became a baby chick. Easter gives hope with new life all around So open your hearts and love will be found.

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a boy named Ali. Ali loved playing basketball with his friends, but he often felt like he wasn’t good at anything special besides helping others. His friend Omar was great at painting, Ahmad could run faster than anyone, and Anas played the violin beautifully. Ali would watch them and wonder, “What am I good at?” Ali returned to the village, feeling proud. When Granny Muna saw him, she smiled warmly and said, “Did you find your treasure, Ali?” He replied, “I did. My treasure is helping others.” Granny Muna said, “That is a gift greater than any gold. You see, the real treasure is discovering what makes you you.” One day, the village elder, a wise old woman named Granny Muna, called all the children together. She had exciting news: "In the forest, there is a hidden treasure, but this treasure is different. It’s something that only you can find. Each of you will discover something special about yourselves." The children were excited and ran into the forest, eager to find the treasure. Ali followed, but he wasn’t sure where to look. As they searched, Omar found a shiny rock and painted a beautiful picture of the forest. Ahmad discovered a tall hill and raced to the top, faster than anyone else. Anas found a fallen branch and played a lovely tune on his violin. But Ali wandered, unsure of what treasure he was supposed to find. Just as he was about to give up, Ali heard a faint sound. It was a tiny bird, trapped in a thorny bush, chirping for help. Without thinking twice, Ali knelt down and carefully freed the little bird from the thorns. The bird fluttered its wings and sang a sweet melody of thanks before flying off. Suddenly, Ali realized something: he had a special talent too! He was kind and gentle, and he knew how to help others. Even though it wasn’t something he could see or hold, it was a treasure deep inside him.

While in bed, she heard a noise by the window. She lifted up her head, and looked out. What did she see? A big ole bee! He motioned with his wing. “Hey follow me. I have something you must see.” Adeline Mae jumped out of bed and ran as fast as she could, but the bee was too fast and flew far, far ahead. “Slow down.” She said. The bee turned around and flew to her side. “We don’t have time for this slack. Jump on my back.” The bee buzzed. So why could she hear this big ole bee? Well, it was because today Addie Mae turned three, and only special little girls can talk to animals as soon as they turn three. C is for cottage. Inside the secret cottage is a white fluffy poodle. “Did you bring me my strudel?” The poodle is Sir Henry, the famous one eyed dog. E is for Eagle. “I’m so sorry.” Buzzes the bee, but the Eagle took your Strudel.” He says to the poodle. “The Eagle took my strudel!” The poodle barks wildly. The bee waves his wings in the air to silence the poodle. “But don’t stress your noodle. You grouchy one eyed poodle. Because I have a plan. I brought you this girl.” “Step forward girl. What makes her so special?”

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Caribay. Caribay was the daughter of the sun and the moon, and she had a voice that was as beautiful as the birds in the sky. One day, as she was walking through the forest, she saw five big white eagles flying in the sky. Their feathers were so white and beautiful that Caribay wanted to have one in her hands. She followed the eagles through the forests, rivers, and deserts, until they reached the Andean Mountain Range. But just as she was about to reach out and touch the eagles, a cold wave turned them into glaciers. Caribay was heartbroken. She started to cry, and as she cried, she sang a beautiful song. Her voice was so lovely that even the wind stopped to listen. Her tears fell onto the eagles' claws, and suddenly, the white eagles woke up and started shaking their big wings. They covered the mountain with their snowy feathers. Since that day, whenever it snows in the mountains of Merida, it's because the eagles shake their wings and cover the mountain with white feathers. Caribay learned an important lesson that day. She learned that sometimes, even when things seem impossible, a little bit of love and determination can make a big difference.
