Scene 2 Toby began walking slowly but steadily. Along the way, he noticed a hidden path the others didn’t see. “This looks interesting,” he said and followed it. Scene 3 Toby found a wooden bridge hidden behind bushes. It crossed a big, rushing river. “This must be a shortcut!” Toby thought and crossed it carefully. He waited on the other side, hoping he could help his friends. Scene 4 Benny, Finn, and the others came to the river. The water was too deep and fast to cross. “What do we do now?” Benny asked, feeling stuck. Finn sighed. “Maybe Toby could have helped,” he said. Scene 5 “Over here!” Toby shouted from the other side of the river. The friends looked up and saw Toby standing by the hidden bridge. They quickly ran to him. Scene 6 Toby led his friends across the bridge. “You found this all by yourself?” Finn asked in amazement. Benny smiled. “I was wrong, Toby. You’re not too slow after all.” Scene 7 With Toby leading, the group reached the waterfall. It sparkled in the sunlight, and everyone cheered. “Toby, you saved us!” Finn said. “You showed us that being slow doesn’t mean you can’t do great things,” Benny added. Toby smiled proudly, happy to be part of the adventure.

Tasha is a 6 year old young pretty black girl with wavy hair. One day her Mom woke her up with a surprise. It was a shiny red tricycle and Tasha was Tasha and her Mom went for a bike ride through the neighborhood. Tasha peddled as fast as she could. They approached what they called the candy lady. The big house had a table in the front yard. it was naptime so they headed home. Tasha didn't want to take a nap so when her mom layed down Tasha snuck out of the house to ride her shiny red trycicle. she knew it was wrong but it was like the bike was calling her name. "Tasha, Tasha." Tasha tried to remember the way that her and her mom took but she got lost. she ran into a hill that she went flying down and the bike flipped and she scraped her leg and tears fell down her eyes. eventually her mom finds her and gave her a talk how important following rules were as well as obeying her parents. the take away from the story is rules are set in place to keep her safe.

Pippa, the little bee, woke up at dawn, She stretched her wings and gave a yawn. The hive was buzzing, busy with bees, Flying and working in the morning breeze. Today was Pippa’s first pollen hunt, She flew from the hive eager and pumped. She landed first on a daisy, so white It was Fluffy and soft, a lovely sight. She wiggled and wobbled, buzzed up and down, But her legs stayed bare—no pollen was found! She flew to a sunflower, yellow and tall, With petals the brightest and biggest of all. She wiggled and wobbled, buzzed up and down, And soon her legs turned golden brown! Time to go home—her legs felt so heavy, She flapped her wings fast and lifted off steady. “One, two, three!” Up she rose, Heading back home as the evening glowed. She searched and searched for an empty honeycomb cell, She wiggled and wobbled and scraped so well. Her job was done, the bee bread made, To feed the colony and baby larvae. 1. John Jr and Vasi was exploring around outside. They would occasionally stop to greet people. Vasi finds a peculiar purple rock. 2. John Jr uses his phone to try to identify this rock. It appeared to be 'a stone of tomorrow. John Jr saw some steps to follow to activate the stone. John Jr and Vasi wondered what would happen. 3. John Jr followed the instructions and would chant anything needing to be said together. They completed the last step and all the sudden the stone glowed brightly and became warm. 4. They then felt a weird feeling in their body. A before they knew it they was in a strange place. People looked and did things very differently than what they was used to. 5. People was zooming pass John Jr and Vasi in spaceships. Everyone they saw were dressed funny in plastic clothes. The oddest thing to John Jr and Vasi is the fact that people no longer spoke to each other. Instead they used a combination of sign language and telepathy. John Jr and Vasi started to check out the place. 6. They found a sign for an upcoming carnival on June 28, 2044. John Jr and Vasi was intrigued. Life was very different than what they had known, which made them a bit scared. 7. John Jr looked up for something to help him and Vasi return back to normal. John Jr found some steps for a reversal. John Jr and Vasi carefully followed steps. The stones became cold and with a blink of an eye, they were safely back in their neighborhood. 8.. John Jr and Vasi was glad to see a glimpse of the future, but had no desire to return. They took the stone home and put it on their shelf.

Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.
