Mrs. B admired their work and said, “Your dream catchers are wonderful! They remind us that each of us has unique dreams and talents. Let’s work together this year to help each other’s dreams come true.” The students left the Creative Studio feeling inspired and excited about the year ahead. Genesis 12:3: “All peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Countless Descendants – Abraham’s offspring would be as numerous as the stars. Genesis 15:5: “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them. So shall your offspring be.” A Covenant Relationship – God promised to be the God of Abraham and his descendants forever. Genesis 17:7: “I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you.” A Son (Isaac) in Old Age – Though Sarah was barren, God promised Abraham a son. Genesis 17:19: “Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant.” These promises were fulfilled in different ways: Israel became a great nation. The land of Canaan was given to Israel. Jesus Christ, a descendant of Abraham, brought salvation to all nations.
