A wonderful Christmas season with my friends

Our memory and our brain are amazing! However, it does not record our lives like a book! You cannot go back to a previous chapter to retrieve memories accurately. Attention issues, prior knowledge, and memory decay all interfere with the actual memories that are stored. There are so many different parts to our memory that all work separately and together to help us experience and remember life. Your task is to create a children's book about manny the monkey that creates a story highlighting KEY concepts for each aspect of memory: Encoding, Storage, & Retrieval. Your book should be like a “cliff notes” of memory and should walk me through these processes in an easy to understand manner. Who do you meet, and what magical experiences await you on this first day in Mr. C's extraordinary classroom?

They see ants walk to the light. They follow the ants til they find the exit

In a gray and sad world there was a snowman that was full of cheer, bright, his body was a canvas of color and art. His fingers had diamonds on them and shone bright. The other snowmen watched, their faces so plain, wondering how SHNOW could be so bold and unchained. SHNOW wanted all snowmen to shine so he put on a talent show to allow everyones colors to shine. When the talent show arrived, all the showmen showed their unique abilities and brightened everyones world.

Baby has lots of adventures on the farm. He meets a cow, a sheep, a chicken, a dog, a cat, a duck. Eve rides a horse. He picks a carrot from the green garden. He admires a beautiful garden full of flowers and colorful butterflies and birds. Eve loves animals and nature.

Hunter and his Daddy are in the park playing baseball. Hunter spots a bird with an injured wing in the outfield. He convinces his Daddy that they need to take him home and nurse him back to health. On their way home, they meet different animals, all of which give advice on how to care for the bird. (mostly crazy ideas. . like mix lemonade, skittles, and chocolate and rub it on his beak). Hunter and his daddy learn that all the bird really needs is food, water, shelter, and love. Eventually, the bird is healed and they release him. While they are tending to the bird, Hunter and his daddy share thoughts about the importance of kindness and empathy. (Hunter names the bird "Mickey" in honor of his grandpa's favorite baseball player - Mickey Mantle. They found the bird in centerfield and Mickey Mantle played centerfield)

Noah has wild imagination. Given him being a bit slow on speech and smaller in size, he often wish he could be stronger and smarter so that he could help his mother more and able to express his feelings. Little does he know, his caring means the world to his mother. His little hugs are the strongest comfort his mother ever needs. His little words help his mother learn more about his growth and how he is evolving. He brings so much light to his mother and others when he shares and offer kindness
