Imoni sat on the couch, her fingers poking at her mouth. “Daddy, my tooth is wiggly!” she said, Her daddy, Arthur, smiled and knelt beside her. “That’s exciting, sweetheart!  Let me see.” Imoni opened her mouth wide, and Daddy gently touched the tooth. “Yup, it’s ready to come out soon. You just have to keep wiggling it. “But what if it hurts?” Imoni asked, her voice trembling a little. Arthur sat down beside her and pulled her close. “Sometimes things that seem scary aren’t so bad when we trust the people who love us. Don’t worry. When the time is right, we’ll take care of it together.”  “Daddy, my tooth feels so loose now!” Arthur looked at her and said, “I think it’s time to  help that tooth come out. Can you get me a piece of string from the drawer?” Imoni’s eyes grew wide. “String? What for?” “We’ll tie it to your tooth and give it a quick pull.” Arthur explained gently. Imoni hesitated. “But what if it hurts, Daddy?  Arthur knelt down to her level. “I know you’re scared, sweetheart. But trust me, I’ll be gentle, and it’ll only take a second. You’re so brave, and I’ll be right here with you.” Imoni looked into her daddy’s kind eyes. She took a deep breath and nodded. “Okay, Daddy. I trust you.” Arthur carefully tied the string around Imoni’s loose tooth. “Ready, sweetheart?” he asked. Imoni squeezed her eyes shut and held her daddy’s hand. “Ready,” she whispered. “On the count of three,” Arthur said. “One… two…” Before he got to three, he gave a quick tug, and the tooth popped right out! Imoni opened her eyes. “Wait… is it out?” Arthur held up the tiny tooth. “It’s out! You did it, Imoni!” Imoni touched the gap in her mouth and smiled. “It didn’t even hurt!” she said, giggling. “I told you,” Arthur said, hugging her. “Sometimes, trusting someone makes all the difference. "That night, Imoni placed her tiny tooth under her pillow and climbed into bed. She felt proud and brave. Arthur kissed her forehead. “Goodnight, my brave girl. I’m so proud of you.”

Chapter 1: Who is Fluffy the Raccoon? Once upon a time, in a thick forest, there lived a small, very fluffy raccoon. But Fluffy had one problem—he was very, very shy. When the other animals invited him to play, he often hid behind trees or under big leaves. He dreamed of making friends, but he was too afraid they wouldn’t like him. Chapter 2: The Secret of Courage One day, Fluffy the Raccoon was walking through the forest when he heard someone crying. He cautiously approached and saw a little rabbit who was stuck in the bushes. “Oh no!” squeaked the rabbit. “I’m stuck! Please help me!” Fluffy was scared at first, but then he remembered that once he had gotten stuck in the branches, and someone had helped him. He gathered his courage and pulled the bushes with his paws. In a minute, the rabbit was free. “Thank you!” exclaimed the rabbit happily. “My name is Speedy Bunny. What’s yours?” “I’m Fluffy the Raccoon,” Fluffy answered quietly. “You’re my hero!” said Speedy. “Let’s be friends!” Fluffy smiled. This was his first friend! Chapter 3: The Forest Ball The next day, a big celebration was planned in the forest—the Forest Ball. All the animals were invited to dance and play. But Fluffy was nervous again. What if no one wanted to dance with him? Speedy noticed that Fluffy hadn’t come to the party, so he ran to find him. “Hey, Fluffy!” Speedy called out. “Why didn’t you come?” “I’m afraid,” Fluffy admitted. “What if no one asks me to dance?” Speedy smiled. “Don’t worry! I’m your friend, and I’ll dance with you!” he said, giving Fluffy a big hug. Chapter 4: A Lesson for Everyone At the Forest Ball, all the animals were happy and playing. When Speedy and Fluffy started dancing, everyone noticed how great they looked together. “Fluffy the Raccoon is so fun and brave!” said the other animals. “We want to be friends with him too!” Fluffy wasn’t afraid anymore. He realized that true friendship is when you’re not afraid to be yourself and when you help others.

1. Thanksgiving was approaching quickly. John Jr and Yuēhàn were wanting to understand how the first Thanksgiving become known. John Jr went to the internet and began telling Yuēhàn about the Mayflower and Pilgrims. 2. John Jr explained that the Mayflower was an English sailing ship that transported a group of English families, known today as the Pilgrims, from England to the New World. After 10 weeks at sea, Mayflower, with 102 passengers, reached the United States, dropping anchor near Cape Cod, Massachusetts, on November 21, 1620. The captain of the Mayflower was Christopher Jones. 3. John Jr went on that The pilgrims wanted to separate from the Church of Egland and they believed God wanted them to voyage to America. During the voyage, the pilgrims passed the time by reading by candlelight or playing cards and games. Upon the arrival on land, the pilgrims were surprised to see the ground frozen and that led to their inability to plant and harvest food. 4. John Jr told Yuehan about the native Indians giving a hand to the pilgrims. The Indians taught the pilgrims how to gather food and survival skills. The help from the Indians save 53 pilgrims from ultimately perishing. Most of the pilgrims died from diseases described as a mixture of scurvy, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. 5. The following year, the 53 pilgrims and 90 Wampanoag Indians had a celebration that we now call Thanksgiving. The Mayflower was torn apart after Christopher Jones passed away. 6. John Jr and Yuehan started counting down the days to Thanksgiving. They planned a special tribute and prayer for the Pilgrim and Indians!

This part is called the subconscious. It’s like a magical room where all your dreams, memories, and feelings are stored. Your subconscious helps you remember how to ride a bike, how to tie your shoes, and even helps you feel happy or calm. It listens to everything you think and feel, even if you don’t say it out loud. If you think happy thoughts and believe in good things, your subconscious helps make those things happen. Just like happy thoughts bring good things, sad or angry thoughts can bring not-so-good things. If you keep thinking, “I can’t do this,” or “This is too hard,” you might feel upset and not try your best. Holly thinks its important to focus on the good and stay positive.
