Ezra, Leo, Mummy, Daddy, Moo and Pops went to Studland beach in Dorset, England. They could see Old Harry Rock in the background., Ezra was digging in the sand when he suddenly said “Daddy there is something really hard in here”. Daddy dug and dug and suddenly they found black volcanic rocks from a million years ago. Ezra collected two pink buckets of volcanic rocks. When they took them home Ezra put them next to his bed. While he slept they started to glow. The next morning they were glowing so brightly. The whole family held hands and rubbed the stones. Suddenly they were taken back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The dinosaurs were friendly. Ezra rode with Mummy on the back of a Brachiosaurus, Leo rode with Daddy on the back of a Triceratoos, and Moo and Pops each rode on Stegosaurus. The played all kinds of games with the dinosaurs. They helped one dinosaur to hatch from an egg. They also helped to feed a baby dinosaur. As it got dark it was time to go home. The all held hands and rubbished the black volcanic rocks again and were transported back in time to day.

In a tall oak tree in the woods at Hagerstown Community College, there lived a baby hawk named Hawkeye. His nest was cozy and safe, high above the students and teachers who walked below.

It’s like she’s calling me to follow her somewhere, but I don’t know where. Then, one night, something changes. She reaches out and touches my cheek. “I’ve been waiting for you,” she says. Her touch feels cold, but it makes the whole world around us glow. The sky turns purple and gold, and stars swirl like glowing dust. “This place is just the beginning,” she tells me. “The real adventure is beyond the dream. Come with me, if you want to know the truth.” I wake up, my heart racing. Was it just a dream, or was it something more? Now, every night, I try to find her again, unsure if I’m dreaming or if the dream has come to life.

In a small village, in a wide yard filled with soft earth and fascinating scents, I lived with my mother and siblings. My mother, a small and clever Pinscher, watched over us. When we curled up around her, I felt the safest in the world. But then, one day, strangers arrived. I watched as all my siblings disappeared, one by one, into the warm hands of new humans. Until my turn came. A pair of hands gently lifted me, and I panicked. Where were they taking me? Where was Mom? The car drove and drove, the scenery outside kept changing, the smells were different, and my heart pounded hard. When we arrived, I heard a new voice: “Wow… he’s so tiny!” “Yeah, cute, right? Don’t worry, he’ll get used to it.” “But… I’m not sure how to take care of a dog.” My breath shortened. They weren’t sure? What if they didn’t want me? At first, it was tough. They put me in a small crate that didn’t feel like home. At night, it was too quiet, and my stomach tightened with longing. I whimpered softly, hoping Mom would hear me and come… but she didn’t. During the day, they let me run in the big yard. I sniffed every corner, searching for something familiar—but everything was new. And when evening came, and they tried to put me back in the crate… I wouldn’t let them! I ran, dodged, and jumped from side to side. I saw them laughing but also getting tired of chasing me. And little by little, I started to adjust. They loved me. They petted me. They smiled at me. Even her—the one who wasn’t sure at first—one day, she picked me up, looked into my eyes with softness, and whispered, “You’re so sweet.” And then I understood. I was home.

John Jr and Vasi decided to go to store to pick up something to feed the birds and a snack for themselves. When they got to store, John Jr and Vasi held door open for people. As they was shopping they saw a family who had matching outfits on. John Jr gave them a compliment. The family smiled at John Jr and Vasi. 3. John Jr and Vasi saw a mom with 5 young kids struggling to push two carts to her car. John Jr and Vasi go over and push the 2nd cart and help keep the kids safe. At the car, John Jr and Vasi helped to unload the carts. The momma was very appreciative and gave John Jr and Vasi some candy she had just bought. 5. John Jr and Vasi head home and give bird seed to the birds along the way. At home John Jr tells his parents about his goal to be the kindest person. His parents hugged him and said that was a wonderful goal.
