He suggested a picnic, but Little Red remembered her mother's warning and continued on her path. Meanwhile, Mr. Wolf hurried to Granny's cottage, disguised himself as Granny, and waited in bed. When Little Red arrived, she was startled by the strange appearance of "Granny." Suddenly, Mr. Wolf revealed himself and swallowed her whole. A nearby woodcutter heard the commotion, burst in, and saved both Little Red and Granny by striking down the wolf. Tuffy was a great dog. he was actually part of the family. Every evening when we ate, he was always sitting beside the table waiting on his portion of the food. He was our friend and adventurer. He would go with Rusty every day and deliver newspapers and always walk Rusty and Lisha to the bus stop. When the bus came home, he came running to walk with us back home. Everyone in the neighborhood loved Tuffy. He would go to the Wertz's house and they would give him snacks. He did this all over the neighborhood. Rusty's parents had a creek in their backyard and Tuffy loved to play in the creek. Tuffy had 2 great dog friends, Flury and Clementine. They woiuld play together for hours. When Tuffy would go off for a few days and then come home, Mother would fuss at him and Tuffy acted like hje knew what she was saying. Tuffy was the best!!

At the bakery, her father bought a cake for the family. They all sat down that evening to enjoy the chocolate cake with sprinkles on top. Later, the little girl asked for a book to read before bed. Her mother handed her the storybook they had just borrowed from the library. In the morning, she looked out the window and noticed a bird chirping on a branch. It wasn’t long before the bluebird flew down to perch on their fence. For lunch, she wanted a sandwich with lots of toppings. Her dad made the turkey sandwich she loved with pickles and mustard. That afternoon, she drew a picture to give to her teacher. Everyone at school admired the painting she had worked so hard on. As the day ended, she snuggled into bed, holding a stuffed animal she had since she was a baby. She smiled as she cuddled the teddy bear that always made her feel safe. And so, the little girl learned that while a begins a story, it’s the that makes it special.
