First day of 5th grade

The new kid goes to school not knowing anyone. The bully bullies her because she has problems going on at home. The bully goes home and her mom talks to her about empathy and not to bully. The new kid goes home crying. The next day the bully apologizes to the new kid and they are now best friends.

He wanted to graduate and make his family proud. Every night, he stayed up late studying to keep his grades high. One day, his best friend Marco asked, "Alex, why do you work so hard?" "I want to graduate and walk across that stage," Alex said with a smile. "I can't let my family down." As graduation day approached, the principal made a sad announcement during assembly. "Our school stadium, where many of you hoped to graduate, is unsafe due to old age. We need to raise funds to repair it," she explained. Alex felt disappointed. He had always dreamed of receiving his diploma on that stage. "We can't let this happen," Alex told Marco. "Let's do something to help." Together with their classmates, they organized fundraisers—bake sales, fun runs, and more. The whole school joined in, hoping to restore the stadium. 1. John Jr and Vasi were playing at John Jr's Granny house. They was playing with some of John Jr's Mom's toys from when she was young. Vasi loved the Polly Pockets. 2. John Jr came across an envelope. Granny said they could open it. A map was in there. John Jr and Vasi studied it for a bit. 3. Granny explained it was a map of the Southside neighborhood. John Jr and Vasi wasted to go there bad, because the map showed a treasure hidden there. Granny took them to the area so John Jr and Vasi could explore. 4. John Jr and Vasiwalkaround for a few hours. They was about to give up, until they noticed an apple tree. The map showed the treasure near that. John Jr and Vasi studied the map a little more to figure out how it was position around that tree. 5. John Jr finds the spot and start digging. They get about 2 ft deep and see this hard plastic container. They get it out. 6. John Jr opens it up and finds a news paper from 1983. The headline was President Reagan created a day to honor Martin Luther King. They find some change that had 1983 imprinted on them. The was a tape of Michael Jackson's Thriller. 5. There was also a Care Bear with a heart on it. There was also some He-Man figurines. They find a box of Nerds candy. They wondered if the Nerds were safe to eat. 6. John Jr and Vasi takes the time capsule back to John Jr's Granny house. Everyone eats some supper. John Jr and Vasi go to their bedroom to play with the time capsule.

MawMaw is an elderly lady that lives alone and tries desperately to tame a wild siamese cat she names Harry. Then one day a young cat she names Pollyanna appears and loves Mawmaw. Maw is surprised when she finds Polllyanna has a siamese kitten. Pollyanna is a mama.

It began in 1954, after the country of Vietnam was split into two parts, North Vietnam and South Vietnam. North Vietnam wanted to reunite the country under Communism, its political and economic system. South Vietnam fought to keep this from happening. The United States helped South Vietnam, but North Vietnam won the war in 1975. Soon Vietnam was a united, Communist country. The Vietnam War had a huge cost in human lives. More than 1.3 million Vietnamese soldiers and about 58,000 U.S. troops were killed. 3. Yuēhàn also read In 1954, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional. This case was a cornerstone of the Civil Rights Movement. The main aim of the civil rights movement was to give everybody equal rights regardless of color skin color, gender, nationality, religion, disability or age. The aim of the movement which peaked in the 1960's was to ensure that the rights of all people are equally and are protected by the law.

Jasper and Archie are the best of friends, they both love when Archie comes to visit Jasper. They enjoy playing with Jasper’s toys and running around and having fun. One day when they were exploring the garden, they discovered Chickens had moved into the garden. Archie was scared at first, but Jasper being the more brave pup, helped Archie overcome his nervousness and they watched the chickens explore their new home, and they ended up making new friends.

Marcianito is a green martian who lives with his parents. One day he goes out playing and gets lost. He ends up in a playground surrounded by human children. One little girl, Valentina, sees him crying by a tree. She approaches him to ask what is wrong. The little Martian tells her that he is lost and she decides to help him find his way back home. Valentina and her mum take Marcianito home, find his home address and take him to his parents.
