God describes David as “a man after My own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14, Acts 13:22). That does not mean that he was blameless. We only need to read 2 Samuel 11 to see that David has fallen very low: he took the wife of one of his generals, Bathsheba, because she was very beautiful. When Bathsheba turned out to be pregnant, David called her husband Uriah home from the battle field hoping he would sleep with her. That would “solve” the problem of Bathsheba’s pregnancy. But Uriah didn’t go home, not even when made drunk, so David sent him back to the battle field with a letter ordering his death. After Uriah’s death, David married Bathsheba. The description of this whole story ends with a clear comment: “the thing that David had done displeased the Lord” (2 Samuel 11:27). God didn’t let David get away with this. He confronted him with his sin, and David repented. Psalm 51 gives us an intimate glimpse of his emotions:

Summary of Penny & Granny Clean the Park! On a bright and sunny day, Granny and Penny decide to clean up the park. They put on their aprons, overalls, gloves, caps, and masks, ready for the job! With rakes and plastic bags in hand, they begin sorting rubbish into the correct bins—one for paper, one for plastic, and one for food waste. As they work, funny moments unfold—Penny mistakes a floating object for a hat (but it’s just a rat!), leaves and papers fly everywhere, and a yoghurt cup makes a messy splat! Despite the laughs and a well-earned juice and cake break, they finish the job together. At the end, the park is clean and beautiful, and Granny reminds Penny that keeping the environment tidy is something they should do every year. Exposition: Buddy the Bottle was a water bottle waiting to be bought from a grocery store. He has never seen the outside world. Then one day a 21 year old man (Jake) buys Buddy when Jake is going to the beach. Problem: Jake drinks Buddy and leaves him on the beach. As he looks around the shore a wave sweeps him into the ocean. Rising Action: Buddy, excited to explore the world, looks out into the vast ocean as he floats, drifting away from the shore. Suddenly Buddy sees something up a ahead that slowly drifting towards him. Climax: Buddy approaches it and realizes that its another water bottle(Bob). Buddy is very excited to meet a new person, however Bob is very gloomy and tries explaining how it's miserable it is on the ocean. As they're talking a sea turtle approaches form behind, and takes Bob away. Falling action: Buddy is sad that he is lonely, and thinks about what Bob was saying. Just before he loses all hope he starts to see a boat approaching. Conclusion: He is suddenly picked out of the ocean by a nice lady (Jean) who picks trash out of the ocean every Saturday. Then he is put into a pile with more trash. Then he hears a familiar voice... Bob! Bob explains how the girl saved him, and the sea turtle. Buddy and Bob finally got recycled. The End Moral: Throw away your trash, don't liter and recycle!
