Когда наступил день бала, Мачеха и сводные сестры Золушки собрались на праздник, однако Золушку с собой не взяли. Мачеха строго настрого наказала бедной девочке не выходить из дома и сделать всю черную работу. Мачеха с дочерьми уехала, а бедная Золушка осталась выполнять задания. Вдруг прилетела фея крестная. которая решила отправить Золушку на бал. Она наколдовала ей платье, карету и хрустальные туфельки. Но предупредила, что как только часы пробьют полночь, волшебство развеется. Золушка поехала на бал. Как только принц ее увидел, он сразу беззаветно влюбился в незнакомку. Они много танцевали, общались. Время прошло незаметно, и вскоре часы начали обратный отсчет. Когда они пробили 12 раз, Золушка из принцессы опять превратилась в обычную девушку. Когда Золушка убегала с бала, она потеряла туфельку, которую нашел принц, и решил отыскать девушку, в которую он влюбился. Это была Золушка. Он много бродил по свету, и когда совсем отчаялся, он зашел в дом, где жила Золушка, но пред ним предстали только ее сводные сестры. Они очень хотели выйти замуж за принца, но туфелька не подошла им. Принц уже собирался уходить, но тут услышал голос девушки. Он попросил хозяйку дома, злую мачеху, позвать третью дочь. Когда Золушка надела туфельку, она снова превратилась в принцессу. Принц узнал ее и забрал к себе в замок.

Enkosi wanted so much to be a Super Hero. He climbed tables, chairs, window bars and everything climbable in his Mumba family home. One day he was stung by a bee whilst in the farm fields of the farm that his family lived at - Oakley Green Farms. Although it didn't hurt, his father, Daddy Chombs, applied some medication for the sting. He went to bed late for his age as usual. Like most nights he dreamt of being a super hero.

Harvey is a 16 year old boy who is working as a newspaper delivery boy for the newspaper company. He gets paid every Thursday. This is his first job and he gets paid by check. Mr. Smith is his boss. Thursday Harvey gets his first paycheck and gets very sad. He was supposed to make 100 dollars but the check is only 70 dollars. Mr. Smith sees that Harvey gets sad and explains to him what deductions are. He starts with federal taxes which is about 8 dollars from Harvey's paycheck. The government collects taxes from all citizens to built bridges and highways and fund the army. He then explains what the social security deduction is for and also, medicare, state and city taxes. At the end Harvey is glad that the government is thinking to save money for him so he gets it when he retires. Sparky is Harvey's dog. He is sad when Harvey is sad and then gets happy at the end when Harvey understands how taxes work.

There was once a loving mule. This mule loved to dance around his mama and eat all the green grass it could see. no matter how tired it got it always knew that his mom loved him. The mule was going around and much bigger now. He loved to play and to spend time around his loving mother. However, it was getting colder and colder and the grass was no longer green and there was not a lot of food around. His mother gave him her share of the hay and the mule understood that he was truly loved and shared this with her to return that love. one day a bad man who was always angry came and took him away from his mother. This man would hardly let him eat and always worked him all day long with hardly giving him a break. The mule thought this man must not know what love is and was going to try to show this man what love is. For 3 days the mule would work and work and work. but it was never hard enough for the man wouldn't even feed him at the end of the day. The mule cried and was so very hungry and thought "how can I show this man what is love?" The man took the mule into town and piled a bunch of food in front of him to eat. there was another man there though. This man was holding a single piece of bread. At first the mule was confused with the choice. But something in that bread felt like his mothers love from a long long time ago. He was so shocked thinking how could this be? that he knelt in front of this bread he knew was the source of all love. Hoping this would show the mean man that love requires all of us to sacrifice sometimes. The man was so shocked that he knelt down in front of the bread too and he yelled with tears and joy that this must be God. For surely God must be love

1. Karmie woke up in her bed, the sun peeking through her curtains. Her stuffed animals sat on her shelf and her favorite purple blanket made her feel warm. 2. She went to the bathroom where The sink was just the right height for her to reach, and her toothbrush had sparkly stars on it. She giggled as the minty bubbles filled her mouth. 3. Karmie skipped into the kitchen, where her breakfast waited for her. The smell of pancakes made her tummy rumble. She liked the way her chair fit just right at the table, and how the window let in the morning light. 4. After breakfast, it was time for some cartoons. Karmie settled onto the big, soft couch in the living room, hugging her dog, Reese, close. She loved this room, where she could cuddle up and watch her favorite shows. 5. It was time for Karmie and Reese to go outside. The trees were tall. Reese wagged his tail as they walked by the park, where Karmie played with her friends. 6.That night, her adults sat down with her. “Karmie,” they said, “we have some exciting news! We’re going to move to a new home soon.” Karmie felt her heart skip. 7. She held Reese's leash tightly as they walked to the moving truck. “I hope I like the new house,” she whispered to Reese. 8. When they arrived at the new house, Karmie took a deep breath and stepped inside. First, she saw her new bedroom. It was different, but still cozy, and her purple blanket was already on the bed. 9. In the new bathroom, her sparkly toothbrush was waiting by the sink, just like before. The kitchen smelled like pancakes, and Karmie noticed the sunlight pouring in through the windows, just like her old home. 10. That night she snuggled into her new bed. She still had her favorite things, her dog Reese, and most importantly, her family. “I think I’m going to love it here,” Karmie whispered, closing her eyes with a smile. 11. Karmie learned that even though she loved her old home, in her new home, she felt safe and happy, just like before.
