Ann gently explained, "Well, Andre, you are very special. We wanted you so much, and we asked a doctor to help us. A kind man shared a little seed, and that seed, with a little egg from me, made you. Then you grew in my tummy until you were ready to come out and meet us!" Tin Quinn added, "And we loved you from the very start. Just because we’re both girls doesn’t change how much we love you or how special you are." Andre thought about it for a moment, then hugged both his moms tightly. Desperate for silence, she covered her ears, but the sound persisted. Approaching a large, dirty window, she pushed aside a heavy curtain. Outside, cold, uninviting trees surrounded the house. A feeling stirred within her, to venture outside, but she resisted. Peering into the darkness, a faint rainbow appeared above the trees. It was not bright or full, but it was there, almost as heavy as her heart. Realizing her clenched fists, she understood the rainbow was her own creation, a manifestation of her inner light, a symbol of hope and exhaustion. Amazed at her power to create light, colors, a rainbow with her thoughts, a small smile formed on her lips. Letting the curtain fall, she sat on the bed, her mind full of thoughts, wondering if other people’s brains held such wonders.

The dragons that live Mythical Peak can fly to escape the deadly lava, but, Ellie does not have the power to fly. There are 100 dragons that live on the peak. Some are sweet and some are dangerous and mean. All of the dragons posses their own power and one dragon holds all the power of all the dragons, making her very powerful and scary. This dragon was named Queen Sapphire and she wanted to take over Ellie’s village called Christmas All Around Island. One power she had was she could control the weather. She decided to punish the villagers by making it winter and cold every day. Ellie didn’t know why the dragon would do this, however, she wanted summer, flowers and sunshine. So, she decide to risk it all to climb the mountin.

It was a tiny bird, trapped in a thorny bush, chirping for help. Without thinking twice, Ali knelt down and carefully freed the little bird from the thorns. The bird fluttered its wings and sang a sweet melody of thanks before flying off. Suddenly, Ali realized something: he had a special talent too!
