The FreeStyle LibreLink application offers the convenience of tracking your glucose levels directly from your smartphone.

By simply holding your phone close to your FreeStyle Libre Sensor, you can effortlessly check your glucose. This application supports both the 10-day and 14-day Sensors.

Here’s what the app enables you to do:

• Perform a painless scan to check your glucose levels, eliminating the need for traditional fingersticks.
• Access your current glucose reading, trend arrows, and historical data.
• Make personal notes to document your food intake, insulin administration, and physical activities.
• Generate glucose reports, including your Ambulatory Glucose Profile.
• Connect seamlessly with healthcare providers using LibreView.

USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR

If you wish to utilize both the FreeStyle Libre Reader and the app simultaneously with the same Sensor, you must first begin the Sensor with the Reader before scanning with your phone. Keep in mind that FreeStyle LibreLink and Readers operate independently, meaning they do not share data. For comprehensive data insights, make sure to scan your Sensor with the same device every eight hours, or else the reports might not capture all your information. You can monitor data from all your devices via LibreView.com.

APP INFORMATION

The FreeStyle LibreLink application is designed for individuals with diabetes to measure their glucose levels when paired with a Sensor. [1] It's important to note that while using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you must also have access to a blood glucose monitoring system, as the app does not include this functionality. Fingersticks are necessary when seeing the Check Blood Glucose symbol, if symptoms do not align with system readings, if there are suspicions of inaccuracies, or when experiencing symptoms that may indicate high or low blood sugar.
